The SEStran Regional Transport Strategy (RTS) committed SEStran to develop a Regional Park and Ride Strategy which would objectively review present-day park and ride provision and use in the SEStran area, and set a framework for developing and assessing future investment in park and ride. The strategy is nested within the RTS objectives, and the role of park and ride in meeting these objectives has been considered. For the purposes of this analysis, the area has been considered in three broad corridors, North, West and South / East, and has considered park and ride issues relating to travel to all major destinations.
