Falkirk Active Travel Public Drop-In Events

SEStran, in collaboration with Arup, is in the process of developing active travel proposals encompassing walking, wheeling, and cycling routes in Falkirk, specifically targeting connections from Falkirk to Larbert and Falkirk to Polmont. We are inviting local residents to participate in our complimentary drop-in events to offer feedback on these active travel route proposals.

Falkirk to Larbert: A high-quality, predominantly off-road active travel route linking Larbert, Camelon, and crucial facilities like Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

Falkirk to Polmont: A high-quality, mainly off-road active travel route connecting Falkirk, Laurieston, and Polmont, alongside key facilities such as Graeme High School and Polmont Station.

Where: Camelon Education Centre, Abercrombie Street, FK1 4HA

  • When:
    – Tuesday, 6th February 2024 (12:30 – 14:30)
    – Thursday, 8th February 2024 (18:00 – 20:00)

These routes are essential components of SEStran’s Strategic Network, presenting a vision for an excellent regional active travel network across the southeast of Scotland.

Falkirk’s local residents, community groups, and key stakeholders are encouraged to share their opinions through Virtual Engagement Rooms. These  drop in events provide an opportunity for local communities to provide valuable thoughts and feedback.

Please join SEStran’s Virtual Engagement Room for comprehensive information on both Falkirk routes, including visual representations of the proposals and project details. Falkirk’s Virtual Engagement Rooms have closed.
