The key scheme objective was to identify a solution for the A90 corridor to function effectivelyas a strategic link for public transport, connecting Edinburgh with its north-western suburbs,commuter towns and much of the west and north of Scotland. This should be achieved whilethe impacts of travel on local and global environments are minimised.
