Following on from the publication of the SEStran Mobility Hubs Strategic Study – Final Report, SEStran has worked in partnership with Fife Council to identify opportunities for implementing Mobility Hubs in the East Fife area.
These documents present the technical assessment and business case for Mobility Hubs which could form the basis for a funding submission. Studies were carried out for: St Andrews, Leuchars and at planned rail stations at Cameron Bridge and Leven. These documents also examine the costs associated with funding the capital, operating and renewal costs.
Mobility Hubs will be an important tool to support Fife Council as it seeks to meet the aims and objectives outlined in the National Transport Strategy 2 (NTS2), reflected in SEStran’s emerging Regional Transport Strategy (RTS) and in the development of a new Local Transport Strategy (LTS) for Fife. These include reducing inequalities; taking climate action; helping deliver inclusive economic growth; and improving health and wellbeing.
