SEStran 2035 – Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Environmental Report

There is a statutory requirement to undertake a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) as part of the development of the draft Regional Transport Strategy. Tis he report has been prepared in accordance with the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 (‘the 2005 Act’). The purpose of SEA is to identify, assess and evaluate the likely significant environmental effects of the strategy. A key objective of SEA is to enhance the environmental and wider sustainability performance of the strategy.
