We’re hiring a Project Officer to join our team, responsible for overseeing a variety of transportation projects in the South East of Scotland. This includes developing a regional Bus Strategy, incorporating digital technology into the transport system, implementing an active travel behaviour change program, and supporting the rollout of electric vehicle charging stations.

The role involves contributing to the Regional Transport Strategy 2035 and collaborating with local authorities.

Salary:£32,957 – £36,780 per year

About you

We are looking for candidates with proven project management experience, a strong grasp of public transport and active travel issues. The role involves working independently to devise creative solutions, supporting the delivery of the regional transport strategy, and engaging stakeholders. Excellent communication skills are crucial for success . The ability to work flexibly and independently on multiple projects with varied deadlines is essential.
